As a Security Officer Full Time TWIC Access Control Driver in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, where you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide professional customer service. You will help maintain a secure environment through clear communication, attention to detail, and teamwork while supporting site operations with integrity. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license.

Requirements

  • Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while following site-specific procedures and access-control requirements.
  • Monitor and manage entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain access records in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity.
  • Support a controlled environment at a chemical and petrochemical location by monitoring restricted areas and reporting access-control concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
