About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer for a commercial real estate location in Richardson, Texas. The officer will help safeguard tenants, visitors, contractors, and personnel by conducting patrols, monitoring access, following site-specific procedures, responding to incidents, and documenting security-related activity. The position pays $18.07 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require being at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and personnel by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor access by checking visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials according to site-specific procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
