As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Observation in Tulsa, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and site procedures. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity when required.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders according to established procedures.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and observed conditions, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
