Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge verification, and visitor management activities at a technology-focused location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, review credentials, and document guest and/or vendor access to help support authorized entry and security-related awareness throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, lobby areas, and perimeter to help identify access control concerns, unsecured entry points, and other security-related issues.
• Support daily operations by assisting with deliveries, directing foot traffic, maintaining accurate activity logs, and following emergency response procedures when appropriate.
