Requirements

  • Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and law enforcement personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Screen individuals and their belongings using assigned screening equipment and established procedures; report prohibited items, irregularities, and access concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for entry to restricted areas in accordance with facility requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain accurate logs and reports related to screening activity, visitor access, incidents, and unusual occurrences.
