As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. You will contribute to a welcoming, secure environment through attentive service, teamwork, and integrity while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture.

Requirements

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense billing operations location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
