Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and vendors with security-related inquiries and directions.
Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the location's protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
Maintain awareness of the unique hazards and protocols associated with chemical and petrochemical environments while performing assigned duties.
