As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps reduce security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with team members and site contacts, document observations, and support a welcoming customer experience. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and guests at a retail distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, loading docks, parking areas and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by post.
• Monitor access points and truck or delivery activity, checking identification and/or visitor logs in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and reporting to site leadership as required.
• Assist with loss prevention support by observing for suspicious activity, reporting policy violations and helping to deter theft and/or damage to property.
