As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy Distribution Center, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet shoppers and team members, respond to questions and concerns, and communicate clearly with site leadership while documenting observations. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting details and reporting to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the facility, loading areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Control access by monitoring entrances, checking credentials as directed, and managing visitor and contractor check-in and/or deliveries according to site procedures.
- Complete routine reports such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity summaries, and communicate observations to oncoming personnel.
