As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Computer Reporting in Malvern, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204) Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets for various tasks, including but not limited to: Email communication, Online application submissions, Accessing and utilizing company software and tools. During the interview process, candidates may be assessed on their ability to navigate digital platforms and perform basic tasks.
  • Customer Service Experience (B219) Candidates should possess prior customer service experience, which may include: Direct interaction with customers via email, phone, or in-person, Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in a customer-facing role. Relevant experience should be highlighted in the candidate's resume and discussed during the interview.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including business areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
  • Monitor for unusual activity and potential security-related concerns, helping to deter unauthorized access and reporting observations to appropriate personnel.
  • Complete required reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
