As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense-related location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor and document access activity, visitor credentials, deliveries, and/or contractor entry in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns.
