As a Security Officer Driving Role Access Control in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer at a dynamic construction location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will support access activities, respond to site needs, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all visitors, vendors, and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting issues through established channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including building areas, entry points, staging zones, and perimeter areas, as conditions may vary across the site.
  • Monitor site activity and access points to help to deter unauthorized entry, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Communicate with supervisors, site contacts, and/or emergency personnel regarding incidents, unusual conditions, and daily activity as needed.
