As a Security Officer Driving Role Access Control in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer at a dynamic construction location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will support access activities, respond to site needs, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to all visitors, vendors, and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting issues through established channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including building areas, entry points, staging zones, and perimeter areas, as conditions may vary across the site.
Monitor site activity and access points to help to deter unauthorized entry, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior.
Communicate with supervisors, site contacts, and/or emergency personnel regarding incidents, unusual conditions, and daily activity as needed.
