In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting details through proper site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter locations to help identify suspicious activity, access concerns, and/or facility issues.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help support access control procedures in accordance with site requirements.
  • Communicate with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and/or emergency responders as needed regarding incidents, patrol findings, and changing conditions at the location.
