As a Security Officer Driver Incident Communications in Carmel, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Dispatch Security Professional at a utilities location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor access activity, support incident response, and help maintain a secure environment. Requirements

  • Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utility operations location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor and coordinate dispatch communications for security-related incidents, alarms, access concerns, and operational requests, documenting activities according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and shift activity records, including communications with field personnel and site stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, and communicate observations or maintenance concerns through established reporting channels.
