About The Position

In North Las Vegas, Nevada: Allied Universal is seeking Security Officers to join our North Warehouse Flex team! Flex Officers are given priority consideration as permanent positions present themselves in the future! Ideal candidates must: Display exceptional customer service and communications skills. Be comfortable performing foot patrol routes requiring standing and walking for long periods of time. Have professional demeanor and appearance. Have proficiency in using computers and tablets.

Requirements

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations take into account a person's stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment)
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site
• Prior military experience
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites

Nice To Haves

• Prior law enforcement or armed security experience
• Associate's degree or higher In Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
• Greet guests and employees and escorts visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points
• Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel
• Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations
