As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrols in Tracy, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in a technology-focused location, verifying credentials and/or reporting unauthorized entry attempts according to site procedures.
Support day-to-day operations by reporting maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior, and assisting with assigned security-related tasks as directed by Allied Universal and site leadership.
