As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed in Grass Lake, MI, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant security-related details.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor information, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contact.
• Support daily operations by communicating with site personnel, following post orders, and assisting with security-related requests as needed.
