About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Alarm Panel Patrol in San Bernardino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Shelter, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a shelter location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will provide welcoming customer service, communicate clearly with residents, visitors, and staff, and report observations with professionalism. Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and service providers by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols throughout the shelter location, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with access control procedures, and help to deter unauthorized entry or prohibited activity.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities in required logs and reports, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
