As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Dispatch Driver in Freeport, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A TSA issued TWIC is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, answering calls, and coordinating security-related communications from the dispatch post.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, phones, and/or radio traffic for a chemical and petrochemical location, and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Document routine activity, incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or emergency notifications, and relay accurate information to site personnel, supervisors, and/or first responders as appropriate.
  • Assist with dispatching officers and/or other site resources to reported issues, access concerns, medical events, and/or environmental or operational alarms according to local protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter when assigned, with working environments and conditions varying by location and post needs.
