As a Security Officer Full Time Overnight Hospital Site Patrol in Escondido, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You may assist with sensitive hospital areas and help respond to individuals requiring support. Requirements

• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directional assistance, and adherence to facility access procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
