About The Position

Seeking an experienced security officer for a position near Mesa Gateway Airport in Mesa. This role involves patrolling a large warehouse facility with multiple warehouses, primarily using a cart but also requiring some foot patrols to check doors, buildings, and gates. The officer will be responsible for observing and reporting, deterring vandals, homeless individuals, and other unauthorized persons. Key duties include performing at least two hourly checks, 30 minutes apart, logging all activities in Silvertrac, and reporting any issues such as lights out, damage, open doors/gates, leaks, fires, or broken windows. The role requires the ability to work alone at night, use a smartphone for texting and reporting via the Silvertrac app, and maintain a clean work area. The company provides a cooling area, cold water, and sports drinks. This is a 12-hour shift position, working Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights from 5:30 PM to 5:30 AM, totaling 36 hours per week.

Requirements

Current AZ unarmed guard card.
Minimum of 2-3 years of security experience (military experience accepted in lieu of security experience if an AZ guard card is held).
Clean driving record.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to use a smartphone and text.
Detailed in reporting.
Ability to work alone at night.

Responsibilities

Patrolling a large warehouse facility with multiple warehouses.
Conducting patrols primarily on a cart, with some foot patrols required to check doors, inside buildings, and gates.
