As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Requirements

A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following protocols established for government locations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
Document observations and report security-related incidents to appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or site management.
Assist visitors and employees by providing information and guidance regarding site policies and procedures.
Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed during incidents at the location.
Participate in required security-related training and maintain awareness of current procedures relevant to the government environment.
