About The Position

Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a College in Beverly MA. As a Security Officer in Beverly, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and provide outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Bring strong communication skills and a people-first approach while supporting a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and reliable service.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of academic buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
