This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

• Possess a college degree.
• Type at a minimum of 40 words per minute.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery partners by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry processes, maintain access logs, and support authorized access to data center areas in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor access-control systems, alarms, cameras, and entry points; identify irregular activity and promptly report security-related concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and critical infrastructure zones to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
