As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Response in Sacramento, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, building perimeters, parking areas, access points, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, or policy violations.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate security-related logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as directed.
• Maintain professional communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a welcoming, orderly environment for a high-profile corporate location.
