As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access in Fort Worth, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by following site-specific security-related procedures, screening access points, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor employee, visitor, and vendor entry and exit at the location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Support access control for deliveries, shipping and receiving areas, and restricted production spaces in a food and beverage location while following posted protocols and escalation procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or local responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify security-related concerns, access issues, and policy violations.
