Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related conditions.
Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and restricted areas in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and direct visitors as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
Maintain accurate activity logs, incident documentation, and shift communications while supporting emergency response activities as directed.
