Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
High school degree or equivalent.
Valid state licensing REQUIRED (Texas Guard Card).
Professional demeanor and appearance.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
Minimum of one year of security experience.
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug).
Must be able to perform occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping, and walking for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

Conduct vehicle/foot patrols to deter theft, vandalism, and suspicious activity.
Manage access control at gates, greeting and identifying residents/guests, logging vehicles, and announcing visitors.
Provide customer service, manage access control, monitor CCTV, handle package distribution, and announce visitors at the front desk.
Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests promptly and courteously.
Manage guest/visitor access and eject trespassers or violators when necessary.
Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles.
Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of their arrival.
Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures.
Monitor and/or detect suspicious behavior to prevent vandalism, theft, and other criminal behavior.
Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks.
Warn violators of infractions (e.g., loitering, smoking, and/or possession of prohibited items).
Respond to calls of distress, alarms, and/or emergencies such as fire, injuries, or the presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders.
Identify and report any concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner.
Ensure accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents).
Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed.
Perform other duties as determined by management.
