About The Position

As a part-time unarmed patrol security officer at a commercial real estate location in San Francisco, California, you will safeguard tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide customer service. You will use communication and technology skills to report security concerns and contribute to a reliable team that acts with integrity. The role pays $27.00 per hour and is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations, and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, and common areas; report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, follow site-specific protocols, and contact emergency services when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, and perimeter boundaries to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
