As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Allen, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access guidance, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including storefront areas, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support loss prevention efforts, observe customer and visitor activity, and report policy violations and/or suspicious behavior.
• Assist with closing procedures, crowd flow observation, and after-hours checks as directed by site-specific policies, helping to maintain orderly operations throughout the location.
