About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Services in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, manage badge access, screen visitors and deliveries, and help maintain a secure environment. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access at facility entry points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor or contractor passes, and maintain accurate access logs.
• Observe inbound and outbound truck, trailer, and pedestrian activity; communicate with site personnel regarding unauthorized access attempts, deliveries, and access concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking lots, entrances, and the business perimeter to help identify irregular conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
