As a Security Officer Secure Entry Operations in Lathrop, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer at an automotive location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including business operations, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and guests while reporting security-related observations, incidents, and policy violations according to established procedures.
