About The Position

We are currently hiring two Security Officers for a site in Germantown, NY. The positions offer a pay rate of $17.00 per hour. The schedules available are Saturday and Sunday, 0500–1700 (5:00 AM – 5:00 PM), totaling 24 hours per week and Friday through Sunday, 1700-0500 (5:00 PM – 5:00 AM), totaling 36 hours per week. Sign-On Bonus: $100 will be awarded to the candidates who are chosen for the positions and successfully completes 30 days of employment with no serious policy violations or attendance issues. Please be advised, to be eligible for the sign-on bonus, applications must be submitted on or before May 31, 2026. The required 30-day employment period does not need to be completed by May 31, 2026; it begins after the employee’s start date. Reliable transportation is required as public transit may not align with shift hours. The available positions will also require a valid NYS Driver's License and applicants must be able to meet the Securitas Safe Drive program requirements as they will be utilizing a client vehicle for patrols. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. Requirements

Valid NYS Driver’s License (must be able to pass Safe‑Drive certification).

Responsibilities

Conduct driving patrols throughout the property (Safe‑Drive certification required).
