As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Observation in Katy, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a technology-focused location, helping to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, report observations, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential security-related concerns.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
Complete detailed activity reports and promptly communicate observed hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
