Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Customer service experience is required.
  • Guard card is required.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report conditions to site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and document visitor, vehicle, and contractor activity in accordance with post instructions and security-related requirements.
  • Support emergency response activities by communicating clearly, assisting with site directions, and documenting incidents, observations, and/or actions taken during the shift.
