About The Position

KRE Security LLC is hiring Unarmed Security Officers for flexible assignments throughout the Allentown and Lehigh County area. Whether you are looking for extra income, part time work, additional security shifts, or an opportunity that could lead to a long term position, we have assignments available to fit a variety of schedules. You choose the assignments that work with your availability. Available assignments include school security during the academic year, summer camp security, and commercial and other non-school locations. We offer day, evening, and weekend shifts, with additional assignments based on availability and operational needs. Even if you do not have school clearances, you can still apply as KRE Security also offers non-school assignments that do not require them.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or GED
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to pass a background check
Must complete required in person orientation before assignment

Nice To Haves

Prior security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience preferred
Candidates working school or summer camp assignments must be able to obtain: ChildLine Clearance, Act 151 Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Check, Act 34 FBI Fingerprinting, Act 114

Responsibilities

Maintain a visible and professional security presence
Monitor entrances, hallways, common areas, and designated post locations
Help maintain a safe and secure environment
Respond appropriately to incidents, safety concerns, and emergencies
Complete daily activity reports and required documentation
Follow site policies, procedures, and post orders
Communicate professionally with staff, supervisors, clients, and other personnel
Report unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel
