As a Security Officer in a dynamic transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and incidents, communicate professionally with travelers and staff, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements

• Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at an airport location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, gates, baggage and cargo areas, parking facilities, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report suspicious conditions, unattended items, policy violations, and other security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with airport operations, law enforcement, and emergency personnel as appropriate.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrols, incidents, access activity, and other security-related events.
