About The Position

The Overnight Security Officer (Part-Time) is responsible for patrolling the interior and perimeter of the hotel and property to identify potential safety and security risks. This role involves responding to emergency situations, promoting safe work practices, initiating preliminary investigations, writing reports, and addressing guest inquiries and requests.

Requirements

• Ability to patrol interior and perimeter of the hotel and property.
• Ability to observe and identify potential safety risks, security risks, and undesirable conditions.
• Ability to respond to emergency situations (safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies, threats to life/property).
• Ability to promote safe work practices.
• Ability to initiate preliminary investigations.
• Ability to write reports and ensure accuracy of documentation.
• Ability to respond to guest inquiries and requests.
• Ability to resolve guest issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the interior and perimeter of the hotel and property to observe and identify potential safety risks, security risks, and undesirable conditions.
• Respond to emergency situations including, but not limited to, safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies, and threats to life and/or property.
• Promote safe work practices.
• Initiate preliminary investigations into incidents, as needed.
• Write reports and ensure accuracy of necessary documentation, as needed.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
