About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Coverage in Lancaster, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post. You will also deliver outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, and always acting with integrity.

Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading and unloading zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or delivery traffic, verify credentials when required, and report policy violations or suspicious behavior to the appropriate contacts.
• Support loss prevention and operational continuity by observing trailer yards, package handling areas, and high-traffic access points, and communicating security-related concerns in a timely manner.
