As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Role in Pennsauken, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a fast-paced retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Must be 21+ years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Access control/badge experience is preferred.
A guard card/license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or local authorities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, entrance points, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or hazards according to post orders.
Support retail loss prevention efforts by documenting incidents, assisting with de-escalation when needed, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
