As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Reception Services in Alpharetta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Manage the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying identification and appointment information, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor logs.
  • Monitor access to the location, screen incoming guests and deliveries according to site procedures, and help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Answer and route calls, provide directions and general information, and communicate observations or concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
