As an Unarmed Security Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will conduct routine foot and bike patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to shoppers, tenants, and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Assist with access control, traffic flow, and crowd management during busy shopping periods, events, and/or emergencies.
