About The Position

We’re hiring a Full-Time Third Shift Security Officer for a client in Pottstown, PA that provides important services to an underserved population. This is more than a typical security position. You’ll work closely with the client’s staff to help maintain a safe, secure, and supportive environment for the people they serve. Requirements

• Calm and professional under pressure.

• Comfortable conducting exterior patrols.
• Able to follow procedures while using good judgment when situations change.
• Willing to complete required site training.
• Security experience is a plus, but the right attitude and work ethic matter just as much.
• Employees must be willing to obtain Phazzer non-lethal CEW certification as required by the site.
• Training and certification must be completed to meet site requirements for assigned shifts.

Responsibilities

• Conducting regular exterior patrols of the property, grounds, parking areas, and designated areas.
• Maintaining a visible security presence.
• Working in pairs as required by site procedures.
• Supporting the client's staff during challenging or difficult situations.
• Responding appropriately to disturbances, security concerns, and other incidents.
• Observing and reporting unusual or potentially unsafe activity.
• Helping maintain a safe environment for clients, staff, and visitors.
• Communicating clearly with client personnel and your security team.
• Completing accurate activity logs and incident reports.
• Following site-specific post orders, procedures, and client requirements.
• Obtaining and maintaining required certifications and clearances.
