Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a healthcare location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Candidates must be at least 21 years of age (C101).
  • Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of security experience (C115).
  • Candidates must demonstrate comfort and proficiency in using computers or tablets (B204).
  • Candidates must have prior customer service experience (B219).

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directing individuals to appropriate areas while reporting suspicious activity or access concerns.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
