As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Information Support in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and materials; monitoring access points; and documenting security-related activity. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly, and use computer or tablet tools as needed. Requirements

Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Possess customer service experience preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures, including verifying identification, credentials, and authorized access.
Inspect packages, parcels, shipments, and personal items as directed by site policy, documenting discrepancies and reporting prohibited or unauthorized items.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading docks, business operations, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
