As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a professional environment through routine patrols, reporting, and collaboration with site personnel. Requirements

  • Possess 3+ years’ combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A Guard Card/License is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
  • CPR Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report access concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
