Requirements

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and applicants must provide proof upon request by the client.
At least 5 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors and employees in a professional manner at the front desk of the manufacturing and industrial location.
Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs as required by site-specific policies.
Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting with directions or information about the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
Observe and report any security-related concerns or unusual activity to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or site management.
Follow all site-specific policies, procedures, and post orders relevant to the front desk operations.
Assist with managing deliveries and coordinating with facility staff for authorized access as needed.
