As a Security Officer - Mall Front Desk in ONTARIO, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a premier retail location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, supporting a polished guest experience while assisting with security-related access control, visitor management, and incident reporting. You will stay visible, communicate clearly with store teams and customers, and help to discourage unwanted activity through professional presence. Requirements

  • MUST HAVE VALID AND CURRENT CA. GUARD CARD & TRAINING CERTIFICATES!
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
  • Staff the front desk by greeting and directing visitors, managing access control, and verifying credentials and/or appointments in accordance with post orders.
  • Monitor CCTV, alarms, and other systems from the front desk, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, conflicts, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to local authorities and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Complete shift activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant information during shift changes to support consistent site operations.
