As a Front Desk Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will be the first point of contact for employees and visitors, supporting access control, ID checks, and visitor processing while maintaining clear logs and communications. You will help identify and report security-related concerns with professionalism and calm customer service. Requirements

• Have an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be 21+ Years of Age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to the location by greeting and screening visitors, checking identification and/or credentials, issuing temporary badges when authorized, and directing individuals to the appropriate contact or check-in point.
• Monitor security-related systems and communications from the reception area, document unusual activity, and notify site contacts and/or public responders as required by post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting, escalation, and coordination with client representatives per site procedures.
• Maintain accurate security-related records such as visitor logs, delivery logs, key and badge accountability, and incident documentation in accordance with site requirements.
