About The Position

Armorous is seeking a professional, customer-service-oriented Security Officer for a seasonal Pool Resort Security assignment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a hospitality-focused environment while maintaining a safe and welcoming atmosphere for guests and residents. The officer will be stationed in the pool area and responsible for monitoring access, enforcing pool rules, and ensuring the safety and comfort of all guests. This role requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to confidently enforce policies while maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanor.

Requirements

Valid BSIS Guard Card (required).
Current with BSIS Compliance
8-Hour Initial Training Certificate
32-hour continuing education certificates.
Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to remain alert, responsive, and proactive in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

Safeguarding properties, deterring criminal activity, and ensuring the safety of businesses, construction sites, and residential communities.
Conducting hourly tours, ensuring the premises is secure.
Access control when checking in and out guests to property, and checking all entrances and exits.
Monitor pool entrance and verify wristbands for authorized access
Ensure no glassware is brought into or near the pool area
Enforce pool opening and closing times
Maintain a visible and professional security presence
Provide excellent customer service to guests and community members
Address concerns and policy violations professionally and respectfully
Observe and report any suspicious activity or safety concerns
Maintain a clean, professional appearance at all times
